In 2004, after spending more than 20 years at fine establishments such as the Van Dyke Place Restaurant, the Whitney Restaurant, and Mac & Ray’s, Chef Jeff Baldwin opened up his own restaurant and catering company, J.Baldwin’s, featuring his award winning stone fired pizza.

His goal was to be able to recreate a gourmet dining experience that fits with today’s busy lifestyles. The way we see it, you should be able to enjoy the taste of gourmet – at your convenience, not just on special occasions when time permits. J.Baldwin’s Restaurant is the result of that dream.

Nearly 2 decades later, that dream continues. The restaurant is busier than ever, and the catering division has grown by leaps and bounds! We are able to cater any event…from small intimate dinner parties, to weddings of 200 people or more. And in 2016, the Baldwin Restaurant Group was formed, announcing the expansion with a new restaurant, Testa Barra Kitchen & Cocktails, featuring modern Italian fare. Testa Barra opened its doors in June, 2017 to great review!
